Ashlie: Having spent a majority of her life around dogs, Ashlie is very accustomed to loving them. When she was 15, her family brought home two of their very own pups (both Coton De Tulears, named Nox and Lux.) Trying to surround herself with as many dogs as possible, she worked at various pet stores and grooming salons trying to decide how much “dog”was plausible for her life’s plan. Ultimately, she decided that a “dog sport hobby” would be perfect. Knowing this, after extensive research and debate on what breed would fit her very reasonable criteria, (spunky, and with personality, but not TOO much personality; loveable, but not a 24/7 lap dog; energetic, but not “run me 6 times a day” energetic; etc…) she finally, (after surveying almost every person who entered the aforementioned grooming salon,) settled on the Miniature Schnauzer, and in 2023 brought home Grimm. She and Grimm can’t wait to continue developing the skills that make flyball such an amazing sport!
