NEW RIVER RAPIDS Flyball

Ed (Sara Edwards) started her path into dog sports with her dog Parker, who had too strong of a herding instinct for an Atlanta city dog. So, she’d drive him a couple hours out to a sheep farm every so often to have some time in the beginner herding pen. After moving to Radford, when she was looking to adopt another dog, Ed wanted a less crazy but still intelligent companion. She decided on a mix of a lab and a herding dog, and Bodhi is the perfect combination. She joined New River Rapids in 2023 because Bodhi’s was driving her crazy with her puppy energy. Bodhi has grown so much in the time she has done flyball, and is also a great swimming, hiking and campaign companion. Ed loves spending time with her amazing teammates and the larger flyball family.
